Mary (Founder of SMH) says:
"As a lived experienced trainer, I know how easy it is to keep falling back into depression, having suffered recurring bouts of depression over a 14 year period, diagnosed with complex PTSD, self-harm and recurring depression. I always felt that the next time I would spot the signs before depression took hold of me, but I never did, at least not until it was too late.
I have now been depression free for over 27 years, having realised what I can do to stay mentally healthy, and as a result live to my full potential. I have for the past 27 years dedicated my life to sharing the skills needed to 'stay mentally healthy' in education, organisations, and with the general public, and more recently through the SMH Hub. At the Hub you can join me (Jacqueline Mary Phillips) and Dr Mariko Howard-Kishi (Head of Research and advocate of the SMH Programmes in education) to find out more about our training and services."
