Business & Education Working Together Project
Collaborating through the 'Business & Education Working Together' project allows you to cultivate a mentally healthy workforce for the future while giving back to the local community. Businesses can choose to collaborate with or individually sponsor a local educational setting, selected by their employees if they wish, to receive SEJ training and services.
Ensuring a mentally healthy and successful future workforce, while fulfilling their corporate social responsibility means, businesses will be recognised with a certificate displayed at the educational setting, acknowledging them as sponsors. Additionally, they will receive a certificate for their own display and enjoy discounted SEJ services as a goodwill gesture for participating in this initiative.
Education - Stay Mentally Healthy Initiative
'Creating a paradigm shift moving from reactive intervention to proactive, inclusive, self-help prevention.'
We have extensive experience supporting educational settings in creating and establishing a paradigm shift in how they support their community: students, staff, educators, and families with their mental wellbeing through the SEJ Process training and services. Working holistically, inclusively and collaboratively with a move from reactive intervention to proactive self-help prevention enabling the whole community to stay mentally healthy and reach their full potential.
We have research data to validate the SEJ Process's impact in education. You can see more information on our research page.
If you are interested in the services we can offer your educational setting, including integrating the SEJ Process into the curriculum or opening your own onsite SMH Hub, geared towards guided self-help and a whole setting
approach to mental wellbeing, please contact us.
Stay Mentally Healthy Hubs
We actively encourage local communities, businesses and educational settings to work with the SEJ Process by establishing Stay Mentally Healthy (SMH) Hubs within their communities.
The SMH Hubs 'bridge the gap', providing a vital link between the current mental health provision and the needs of their community. They enable individuals to learn the skills to maintain positive health and reach their full potential.
Businesses and organisations through the Hubs can fulfil their duty of care, addressing the gaps in the current provision, ensuring they take all reasonable steps to support the health, safety, and wellbeing of their employees, students, and families.
The 'Pay It Forward' Project
The pay-it-forward project encourages qualified SEJ Consultants and Trainers to help others through their own lived experience and professional service. The recipient, who used the SEJ services to change their own life, is encouraged to extend the kindness to someone else, creating a positive chain of generosity and kindness that spreads throughout the community.
All qualified SEJ Consultants and Trainers are actively encouraged to give some of their time for free, volunteering at the SMH Hubs. A SEJ Consultant or Trainer can give as many hours as they are able to, and work either online or in-person at a Stay Mentally Healthy (SMH) Hub or even open their own Hub (See our Retrain, Restart, Reinvent programme).
There are many ways to pay it forward, take a look at our Get Involved page.
