Stay Mentally Healthy Community Hubs
Welcome to your vibrant community-focused 'Stay Mentally Healthy' (SMH) Hubs, your go-to resource for an empowering array of training events and services. We strive to offer accessible and inclusive services to support your mental wellbeing right in your community, empowering you with the skills to thrive and unlock your full potential.
We like to think of our Hubs as your local gym for mental wellbeing, where you can learn skills for maintaining positive mental health, and access support and resources to assist with recovery. Just like your gym we even offer you a free personalised fitness plan (Stay Mentally Healthy Plan) through the Hub Drop-in service.
Your personalised Stay Mentally Healthy Plan
The Hubs are the perfect first point of contact for anyone eager to empower their mental health, and if required our qualified Consultants are on hand to support you in creating a free personalised Stay Mentally Healthy Plan. This service is available during the free Drop-in or Hub Café, or you can simply self-register for any service.
How much do the services cost?
Each Hub offers unique services that are either free, pay what you want (PWYW), or require a small fee to cover our basic costs or pay for external services, these are clearly indicated with a 'P' for your convenience. For those using the PWYW option, we provide a suggested price for each event/service, again this fee is to help cover our basic costs. We appreciate your support and contribution.
What if there is no local Hub how can I access services?
Not all of our Hubs are advertised on the website as they may be located in business and educational settings. If you cannot access a local Hub or travel to our flagship Hub in Bridgnorth, please check out our Virtual SMH Hub, all services in the Virtual Hub are offered online. Alternatively you can contact us to access services via our Mobile Hub where we travel to your area.
How we operate
Our Hubs are privately run by qualified SEJ Consultants or Trainers as part of our 'Pay it Forward' and 'Retrain, Restart, Reinvent' initiatives. They are dedicated to supporting their local community assisted by community volunteers. Your payments and donations contribute towards keeping the Hubs operational and provide the opportunity for the SEJ Consultants and Trainers to build their independent business/social enterprise.
Our services
All our services have their foundation in the SEJ Process, a powerful guided self-help tool that is a fast, highly effective, and innovative approach to wellbeing. Born out of Mary's own mental health struggles, now depression free for over 27 years! Backed by research with 90.3% of people reaching empowerment after just one session.
If you would like to know more about the SEJ Process, how it works, and what it can do for you, why not join our free talk at the Open Event in Bridgnorth, or via the Virtual Hub. Over the past 27 years we have worked with people from all walks of life, examples include the police, parents, carers, veterans, solicitors, sports professionals, the clergy, educational settings, businesses, and organisations of all kinds. It is therefore difficult to create a comprehensive list of every life situation we can help with, however we have listed some examples below:
-
depression, anxiety, relationships issues, financial worries, busy mind, lack of purpose and direction, health concerns, addictions, sexual identity, abuse, PTSD, trauma, stress, bullying, bereavement.
