Innovative! Empowering Services for Mental Health
Stay Mentally Healthy (SMH) is a volunteer-led organisation dedicated to promoting mental well-being through the innovative, accredited and evidence-based Self Empowerment Journey (SEJ ) Process. Providing fast and effective prevention and treatment for mild to moderate mental health problems.
Our community Hubs offer a safe space for individuals to learn the skills to stay mentally healthy, address any mental health concerns and receive support from trained professionals.
We believe in the strength of community and work to foster supportive environments where everyone feels heard and valued. Through various events, workshops and 1-1 sessions, we aim to equip individuals with the tools to navigate life's challenges and live to their full potential. Join us on this Self Empowerment Journey (SEJ) towards staying mentally healthy.
"I feel completely renewed and ready to take on life again!"

With the ultimate goal of empowering you to ‘reach your full potential’.
Collaborating to stay mentally healthy.
We must work together to create a mentally healthy community.
1
Education
The whole setting community: students, educators, staff and families use the same self-help tool, the SEJ Process, to help themselves and each other to stay mentally healthy and reach their full potential.
2
Workplace
Businesses can adopt the SEJ Process and support educational initiatives as part of their CSR. This aims to teach young people about maintaining mental health and achieving their full potential before entering the workforce. Additionally, hub sponsorship opportunities are available.
3
Individuals
Individuals can learn the SEJ Process at one of our events, the Hub, or via their workplace, JobCentre, or educational setting fostering a collaborative and holistic approach to positive mental health provision.
Why a Self Empowerment Process is important
Education
One third of students report feeling depressed or lonely while nearly half of students with a mental health condition do not disclose it to their universities. (i)
Workplace
Research indicates that 12.7% of all sickness absence days in the UK can be attributed to mental health conditions, with stress among them. (RedCross) (ii)
Individuals
Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. (Mind) (iii)
